EVERY FRIDAY 7 to 10 pm: There is a weekly Drumming Circle and Sacred Dance at the Melrose Therapeutic and Wholistic Center 414 Main St. in Melrose. A gathering of drummers, experienced and new alike, create a rhythym of energy for joy, relaxation, and inspiration. Come to drum, or just dance to the beat. EVERY FRIDAY 8pm-12PM: Dance New England presents Dance Friday, at Phillips Congregational Church, 111 Mt. Auburn Street in Watertown. People of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities can express themselves through movement to music. All the music is provided by volunteer DJ's, and all are welcome to participate in providing music for the dance. Dance barefoot, any way you like with or without a partner to all kinds of music. Dance Friday is sponsored by the Movement Collective, a non-profit organization that promotes dance activities and educates the community about the value of dance.
